I love this guide! I’m not a HUGE baker but I always dream of making tarts and cakes and all sorts of great, sweet things. I’ve always wanted to buy vanilla beans. How long do they keep?

What about the cooking equipment needed? I just inherited a nice kitchen aid mixer but I have no idea how to use it or what to make in it.
