Not all builders get this. Some refuse to build energy star. Just to be clear: Energy Star is 15% better than the poorest performance allowed by law. In our opinion, thats not much better. Like we said with the right builder and design 50% better can be just as affordable.

Insist on energy star as a minimum but go farther if you can.
