By far the best breakfast/brunch in town. Stay long enough and you will run into many folks you know.

THE place everyone takes out of town guests. An eclectic menu means everyone finds something to love. The decor is historic Oshkosh with photographs showing Oshkosh as it was and many of what Oshkosh should be in our near future.

For lunch, dinner or a gathering with friends. The Chalice is an Oshkosh staple and well worth a visit.

Pick up some Pearson’s for your fast dinner needs. A whole lot of barbeque for a very little price. Great southern fried food as well.

Great Chai tea and of course terrific coffee. Their snacks are too tempting so be careful stopping in when you want a nosh.

An East-side pizza joint owned and operated by Oshkosh folks. Great place to hang out on Packer game day or take the fun bus to a Brewer game.

A fabulous and friendly place for all of your art supplies and framing needs. Jim Evans will great you with a smile and usually a joke before answering all your questions.

Trendy little boutique for trendy clothing.

Great environment, great building, great stylists. My choice of course is Erin and all her curly hair. We curl types must stick together. New owner Shawn is adding many new services and some cool design elements to this already trendy salon.

A great little book store, the old fashioned kind. Author readings, special events and great community involvement.

Need vintage clothing? If you can get down the aisles and have lots of time to look at the gazillion of items filling every possible space, this is a great place to shop.

Shoes to fit your foot. If you are out shopping Main St. and your feet begin to hurt, stop in and get some that don’t. A long time anchor of our downtown.

Real photo developing – film or digital production. Or if you need the camera first, they have that too, plus other supplies required.

Every old home owner should get to know Crescent Moon. They have an amazing selection or architectural salvage to find just that one missing thing you need. Their antiques aren’t bad either.

If you aren’t from NE WI then maybe you don’t know about the Exclusive Company. Ostensibly a music store but they are so much more.

About four years ago they moved down the street and are now in the 200 block of Main St. They still have some pretty cool antiques and some awfully nice new stuff. You can spend all day just looking around, but try to buy something now and then.

Stop by and meet a genuine storm trooper who lurks around out side the store often. Then come in and meet some other comic book heroes.

They have everything. Just ask Nan.

Whether for public or private viewing, you owe yourself a stop at Christensen’s. Things to make you feel pretty and look it too.
