This guide spot is to show everyone just how many different Rubber Duckies there are in the world. I bet Ya'll did not know there were so many. I alone have collected hundreds of them. From the plain everyday yellow rubber duckies all the way to the Elvis Presley Rubber duck. You can use them for wedding favors, shower favors, there are holiday ducks such as the dracula duck for halloween or the reindeer duck for Christmas. SO many ducks and so little room to display them.

Queenie

When she was just a adolescent duckling she was the queen of the Drex parade, and from that day on she wanted to be called Queenie. Queenie loves New Orleans, she is just a party duck. You never know where or when she is going to show up.

There were many sponsors at the Festival. Queenie was living the dream sitting on one of the cult bikes. She always had a quacky imagination, She felt like she was riding the bike holding on to her favorite Drake with the wind blowing thru her feathers. It was quite a task getting her off of the display bike.

It was a long day at the festival but Queenie just had to stop at her favorite bar before she went home. She loves to sit on the piano and quack along with the piano player. He always ends up giving her his tips to get her to stop quacking.

Well it has been a long day and Queenie is finally ready to go home. She had her fill of all the BBQ she could eat, and live entertainment for the day. I do me only for the day. After all tomorrow is another day.

Every day, the Peabody Hotel loads up their lobby fountain with live ducks. This quirky tradition, plus a recent 40 million-dollar renovation, persuades many to stay in the world-famous downtown hotel, but being a hotel guest isn't a requirement for checking out the playful birds. The ritual started in the 1930s when the Peabody manager and a friend put their live duck decoys in the fountain; people liked it and a tradition was born.
