Maybe you've already had one that is etched forever in your memory, or maybe you're itching to go on one with that special someone...who has yet to show up. It could take the form of some cheezy movie excerpt that involves getting caught in spring rain or a traditional candlelit dinner at a fab restaurant. Or something else entirely! Woo me with your tales.
Cooking and/or Baking with someone
Okay, for the record, I have always despised the words “date” or “dating.” Not the ideas, mind you, but just the words. I’m not sure why. I should make up my own word for the word “date”…hmm…zonktoidlen or metrasticka. Yep, going with those.
Okay, so one of my favorite zonktoidlens is making/preparing food with someone. Like the hot chocolate and sugar cookies you see above! That’s what you call oh crap I have a bad cold on Valentine’s Day and totally ruined your plan so we have to stay home, but look I’ll make homemade hot chocolate and cookies to make up for it! True story.

Speed Dating, but wait, my idea is more complex
So, I’ve never done speed dating, but I always thought it would be fun (in a sick and maybe deceitful way?) to go speed dating WITH someone you’re already dating. Even serious with!
These events are everywhere in Manhattan, but I was never able to convince a “him” to go. Walking around the room (I’m guessing? I don’t know how these things work) and doing the mini-date thing, all the while watching your beau do the same.
Maybe I’m just crazy.
