It's that time of year... Hooray! Local farmers from Denver and surrounding areas get together to sell their produce and share the delicious goodness with veggie and fruit lovin' folks like me. This is your guide to this year's markets.

City Park Esplanade Fresh Market

Located at the Sullivan Fountain at E. Colfax and Columbine St., this is one of my favorite markets in town. It is smaller, more intimate, and a perfect way to spend your Sunday Morning. Sundays 9-1.

City Park Market

Stapleton Farmers' Market

Found in the Founders’ Green adjacent to the E. 29th Town Center, this newer location is in the bustling and growing Stapleton area. You’ll not only be surprised by the wonderful produce you can find, but you’ll also find entertainment and great shopping after the market as well. Sundays 8:30-12:30.

Stapleton Market

Southwest Plaza Farmers' Market

Located in the SE parking lot at the Southwest Plaza at Wadsworth and Bowles, this is a growing market that is convenient for Littleton area residents. This market is open Saturdays 8-2.

Highlands Ranch Farmers' Market

9288 Dorchester St. Highlands Ranch, CO 80129

For Highlands Ranch folks, it’s Sundays at the Highlands Ranch Town Center Square. Organic produce and even all natural dog treats, because here in Colorado, our pets are family! Head there Sundays from 10-2.

Cherry Creek Market

Cherry Creek Farmers' Market

This is the top farmers’ market in town, with a huge following and tons of atractions. From fresh flowers and produce to kettle corn and organic pastries, you are sure to find something for everyone. This market is located in the Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot(now in the back lot for more room!) at South University and Cherry Creek North Dr.. Check it out Saturdays 8-1 and Wednesdays 9-1.

Some of our local markets

Tamarac Square Farmers' Market

This market can be found in Tamarac Square of course, at Tamarac and Hampden. This is a Monday market, so it’s naturally smaller and a nice market to get to know the vendors and even meet other shoppers. 11-3.

Aurora Farmers' Market

333 N. Havana St Aurora, CO 80010

This market is open Tuesdays from 11-3 and found in the Maya Sports Bar and Grill parking lot. How about a burger and beer after your shopping?

Littleton Farmers' Market

7301 S. Santa Fe. Dr Littleton, CO 80120

The Littleton crowd is lucky to have 2 nearby markets! This one is located in the Aspen Grove Lifestyle Center and open Wednesdays 11-3. Perfect for home makers who want to support local farmers, but are busy with family on the weekends.

WheatRidge Farmers' Market

4260 Wadsworth Blvd. Wheatridge, CO 80033

Open Thursdays 11-3 is the WheatRidge Market. This is a great way to get a head start on your weekend. Grab all your goodies from fresh fruit and veggies to natural bath and body products and by Saturday morning you’re ready to make a veggie omelette followed by a soak in the tub. Then off to one of the weekend markets for fresh flowers on your bike.
