This is a quick guide to the major attractions in Denver - and the Sports Bars that serve them. Of course, not all the attractions are sports-oriented but everything goes better with a sports bar nearby.

The open-air stadium seats over 50,000 spectators with a row of purple seats indicating the one mile mark above sea level. Located in downtown's LoDo district a few blocks from Union Station, the stadium is designed with red brick to mimic the ambiance of an old-time baseball park.

Home to the fantastically popular Denver Broncos of the NFL as well as Major League Lacrosse's Denver Outlaws, INVESCO Field at Mile High seats some 76,000 fans for its games. In 2008, the stadium was selected to hold Democratic Presidential candidate Barack Obama's party nomination acceptance speech. The stadium is located just west of downtown Denver, near other sports complexes including the Pepsi Center and Coors Field.

The Pepsi Center is home to the National Basketball League's Denver Nuggets. It is located in the LoDo district of downtown, just north of the University of Colorado-Denver. The stadium also hosts the National Hockey League's Colorado Avalanche, as well as concerts and trade shows.
