Watch this video of the Godfather of Soul as he shows you how to get your dance on. He actually busts out the robot on this one.
Rodney Mullen is a skateboarding innovator with mind boggling flatland tricks. We should all thank Rodney for doing Christian Slater’s tricks in “Gleaming the Cube” for him.
Rodney Mullen is so amazing that it requires at least 2 videos to truly appreciate what he’s capable of.

I know that everyone is going to be wondering why Michael Jackson isn’t on this list and I’ll tell you. Before her “Hey Mickey” work, dancer Toni Basil was sleeping with David Byrne and producing Talking Heads videos. She was working with a man named Poppin Pete and his LA break crew The Bugaloos who are featured in this video. The video was never featured on MTV because it was considered “too black” back then, but you will see footage of the Bugaloos pulling off moves like The Moonwalk, years before Michael Jackson ever tried to market them as his own.
