Hampton Inn Cypress Creek

720 E Cypress Creek Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33334

The inn of last resort. Sometimes it’s the only local hotel available in winter. Hence better than nothing. Driving distance.

Mimmo's Italian Restaurant & Pizza

6330 Powerline Rd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309

Garlic rolls, pizza, salads, garlic rolls, stromboli and did I mention garlic rolls? A great place to eat when you don’t want to get invited to an afternoon meeting.

Park Place Restaurant

A “Monopoly” themed diner with a daily special. Comfort food for the working crowd, and they deliver!

Moonlite Diner

A shiny metal exterior and retro interior. Food is consistently rated bad by everyone who eats there, so approach with caution.

Longhorn Steakhouse

Eat beef until the cows come home. Oh wait, the cow is on the plate. Satisfying for the hunter/gatherer type.

Bread Shop the

Tasty pastries, coffee and cakes. A great place to stop on the way in to work to pick something up, if you want to make quick friends at the office!

Sweet Tomatoes

Salad, soups, pastas, bread, fruit and more. All served buffet style. Ask around, someone always has a discount coupon in the office.

Fort Lauderdale (FLL)

The closest airport. When leaving the airport, take Interstate 595 West to Interstate 95 North. Proceed on I-95 to Cypress Creek Road West (Exit 33B). Continue westbound, past the train tracks and make a right turn on Northwest 6th Way. There will be a “Coporate Park” sign at the entrance to the office park. At the stop sign, you will be facing the Local Matters office building across the lake, proceed to the right and park behind the building.

Alternatively, a taxi will cost about $40 and the ride will take 25 minutes.

Miami (MIA)

The airport with the best international connections. Follow the airport exit signs to Interstate 95 (I-95) North. Proceed on I-95 to Cypress Creek Road West (Exit 33B). Continue westbound, past the train tracks and make a right turn on Northwest 6th Way. There will be a “Coporate Park” sign at the entrance to the office park. At the stop sign, you will be facing the Local Matters office building across the lake, proceed to the right and park behind the building.

Typically a 1 hour drive.

West Palm Beach (PBI)

Follow the airport exit signs to Interstate 95 (I-95) South. Proceed on I-95 to Cypress Creek Road (Exit 33). Turn right (West) and continue westbound, past the train tracks and make a right turn on Northwest 6th Way. There will be a “Coporate Park” sign at the entrance to the office park. At the stop sign, you will be facing the Local Matters office building across the lake, proceed to the right and park behind the building.

A 45 minute to 1 hour drive.
