Step 4- Return shirt for full refund at Dillard’s

Sippy Cup of Wine

After a rather stressful day with my grandfather in the ER, I made my grandma drink red wine out of a crazy-straw sippy cup.

My grandma was super cute, but I didn’t appreciate it at the time. I used to sleep with her on the pull-out couch when we went to visit her and my grandpa. But once she told me if I kicked her, she would bite my toes off. She was clearly joking, but to a 6-year-old? NOT funny. I was scared to death and wouldn’t sleep on the pull-out couch anymore. now I regret it.

I guess she wanted to fairly distribute the batch amongst all the grandchildren. Needless to say, I enjoyed it one crumb at a time.

She Gives Me Great Advice

On Sunday, I tell Nana that my broke ass got a new job writing about ridiculous stuff on the Internets. By Wednesday, I receive an unexpected check in the mail for $35 and a note that says “Go buy yourself some groceries. Love Nana.”

Break-Up Grilled Cheese Sandwich

I went to visit my Nanny just after a break-up. After a big hug she made me a grilled cheese sandwich with some tomato slices. Nothing fixes the heart like some melted, gooey grilled cheese!

Bake me Cookies

Every time I came to visit she had to bake cookies because she said the first thing I did when I came to her house was open the cookie jar and grab one.
