Costs of Hotels and Flights: Las Vegas

0j3

So we are planning a trip to Las Vegas in October. I need to start planning. I know Vegas isn't as cheap as it used to be so I wanted to put out there the hotels we are looking at and their costs. Suggestions are welcome, I want to make it special but not have to tap into my kids college fund. The prices are for a weekend in mid October.

Stay as close to the strip as possible… staying off of the strip sounds fine with the $$ but sucks when you find out you are limited with restaurants and activities that are within walking distance.

Rent a condo… they’re just off the strip and lots of my friends have rented them for $150-$200 a night. Craigslist might be the way to go.
