Elf's New York City Christmas

-622701728

I love Christmas for all of the traditions; decorating the tree, baking, wrapping presents, looking at Christmas lights, ugly sweater parties, etc. etc. but the best Christmas tradition of all is watching your favorite holiday movies.....mine: ELF. There is nothing to put you in more of a Christmas spirit than watching Elf. If you're lucky enough to be in New York around the holidays (which happens to be the best time) then take some time to exercise your jolliness by getting the ELF spirit!

BUDDY ARRIVES IN NYC!!!!

Widget_beexi_4qzi7qled5upxdfh

How did you get here Buddy???

Buddy: I passed through the seven levels of the Candy Cane forest, through the sea of swirly twirly gum drops, and then I walked through the Lincoln Tunnel.

Snowball fight?!

Widget_azciywr0xeg41el9ua3c2f

If you haven’t had a hardcore snowball fight since you were eleven, I’d consider trying it out. You can work out some aggression AND enjoy Central Park all at the same time…..just make sure you’re throwing the snowballs at people you know. You don’t want to make anyone Grinch-y around the holidays by pelting them with an icy snowball.

One of the greatest things about New York during the holidays is how full out everyone gets with the decorations. There are elaborate displays in almost all of the department stores windows and lights lining the streets.

Check out the Polar Express window display and the Miracle on 34th St display.

The building features an observatory on its 86th floor where visitors can look out over New York, listen to an audio tour about the history of the city, and shop for souvenirs at the gift shop. For an even more impressive view, take another elevator ride up to the 102nd floor observatory. An unmissable landmark on the New York skyline, the building is located a few blocks east of Penn Station.
