I somehow ended up in Highland Park last night. Maybe if I would have eaten something (cheap) I would remember how I got there. Or how I got home. Or who that guy was.

Love this aficionado’s web of cheap eatery. One of these days when I decide to thwart myself out of this dark, grundgy city into the sun shining area of East LA, I’m going straight for the egg rolls. With Agent Orange sauce.

I agree, Golden Deli’s egg rolls are the best I’ve ever had! Just a tip – this place is closed on Wednesdays, but their sister restaurant, Vietnam House, offers the exact same menu across the street and closes Tuesdays instead. You can get your pho and egg roll fix seven days a week!
