Central Square, Cambridge, MA
Central Square is for Lovers
Fancy Central Square
Are you dressed up? Well, then you should go to Cuchi Cuchi, cozy up to the bar and marvel over the classic and not so classic cocktails.Whitney is an awesome bartendress. Central Kitchen is another great place. You don’t need to be dressed up to go there, but it may increase your chances of meeting successful people.
Green Street! home of the aqueduct. such a good cocktail. Decent place to catch up with a friend. Misty is one profesh of a bartender.
drinking
Do you just feel like drinking?Miracle of Science is great! Especially on Friday nights when the bartender named pencil is working. He will play lots of hideous R&B that is Michael Jackson “Bad means good” mentality.
The Plough & Stars is also great for pounding beers. Andrea Gillis is a famous rock singer and she bartends there occasionally.
do you like to watch sports with meager offerings of humanity? go to tavern in the square…i guess? no I’m kidding. It’s an ok, place. I actually don’t mind it- sometimes..
you can actually buy this at Buckaroo’s
buy stuff in central square
Buckaroo’s mercantile is positively persnickety- in a GOOD way. So many details, so many things. Try not to buy something!
Rodney’s (don’ t miss out on the upstairs!)great used books.
Pandemonium- sci fi books & games. you into that?
7-11 the one near Central Kitchen not the one near Tavern in the Square, is very lucky for scratch off tickets.
venus wigs
Harvest Market- co op. local market.
characters
idiot “Where are you going?” you “Central Square”idiot “Central Square is crazy”
yes every tom dick and harry claims central is “crazy” but that’s what so great about it. Sammy is the most famous crazy. He wears mardi gras beads, sometimes a sparkly turban, shows off his great legs in the summer, with jean shorts!, paces from central to harvard ALL day LONG.
“spare 50 cents guy”this ‘kid’ will ask you for 50 cents exactly. brilliant marketing technique
Timberland hoodie lady. She sits and vents near citizens bank (usually) eavesdrop. She’s got it all figured out!
dance in central
dance your heart away? The Phoenix landing does a great 80’s night on Sat nights. It’s good because no one will really bother you but it’s bad because no one is really good looking. haha!
Middlesex is also good for dancing. 90’s night on Wed is pretty perfect. But it’s funny to see 21 yr olds dancing to music that was the soundtrack to their elementary school days. Well, I guess that makes me oldish. But I’m cool with that.
Enormous Room- like a place referencing ee cummings could be bad! the pioneer of the lowercase for christ’s sake!this place is great! let me tell you why: One time I was at an “art” show at middlesex. I didn’t have time to eat and drunkenly convinced myself that a margarita with salt was the equivalent to eating nacho’s (I was wrong). Well after that show (and 7 margarita’s) I decided it was a great idea to leap from couch to couch at Enormous Room. The best part? they didn’t even flinch or kick me out or even worse: ask me to stop.great place!
Zu Zu’s next to the Middle East

Eggs
Breakfast/ BrunchEvery male spanish speaker I meet thinks it’s hilarious to ask me if “I like eggs” Te gusta huevos? they will ask me. This is a hilarious trick by castillian tongues because, huevos is also slang for balls, nuts, nards, nut sacks.so, to answer your question: Yes, I like huevos.
