Once upon a time there was no such thing as a cell phone. I barely remember these days, myself and now my hopelessly ghetto non-iPhone is my only phone and my connection to all that is important to me: friends, family and hot guys. But even in Los Angeles, cultural capital that it is, sometimes I just CANNOT get a signal! WTF?

Los Feliz Blvd. near Griffith Park

Right where Los Feliz Blvd. turns into Western Ave., where I used to have to drive every single day on my way home from work my cell phone would just DIE.  And I was almost always on the phone because otherwise commuting is totally boring.  Can’t they put a tower in the park or something?  I mean, honestly.

Hmm…I wonder if I can get a signal from up here…

Maybe my cell phone is a reverse racist?

Not only is that freeway shoulder-less, filled with blind corners, and narrow as all hell, it’s full of cell phone dead zones. Lame.
