Celebrity Couples That Won't Last

Miley Cyrus and Justin Gaston

Even though both have penchants for coordinating their outfits (v-neck shirts above, tank tops below— and don’t forget the jewelry!) I’m not sure how long Justin and Miley will last.

UPDATE

As of June 13, 2009, Miley and Justin are NO longer together (she’s even gone off the “Disney deep end” and gotten her nose pierced). Did I call this or what? (Granted, predicting the breakup of a teenage girl isn’t exactly rocket science, I’m still going to give myself a back pat just the same).

It’s not matching track suits, but it’s just as bad.

Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens

So I know these two are “high school musical” sweethearts, but like most high school lovers these two will inevitably outgrow each other. Since Zac’s career seems to be taking off and Vanessa seems to be doing, well nothing, there’s probably going to be a jealous spat at some point.

Rachel Bilson and Hayden Christensen

Rachel meets Hayden, and one bad movie (“Jumper”) and two pairs of matching Ray Bans later, the two are engaged. Wasn’t she dating Adam Brody like 15 minutes ago?

Heidi and Spencer

At least this is a couple I hope, wish, and pray won’t last.

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon

She’s 38; he’s 27. Sure, relationships like this last all the time, but come on. You can just tell he’s way more into him than she is him. Oh yeah, and they were only dating a couple months before tying the knot. That generally works well, right?

I do love the butterfly cupcakes though. And she obviously loves them more than she loves him.

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds

So one minute Reynolds is engaged to Alanis Morisette, and the next minute he’s MARRIED to Scarlett Johansson!? I know she’s the “next Marilyn” or whatever but this thing has “hasty” and “rebound” written ALL over it.

Brian Austin Green and Megan Fox

Like Justin and Miley these have the whole outfit coordination thing going on. And while their relationship seems to have lasted despite their engagement break off, I just feel like a washed-up teenage star and a 20-something “Maxim” cover girl might have trouble staying together.

So I’m a big “Gossip Girl” fan, and while I know Penn and Blake aren’t drawn to drama like their counterparts Serena and Dan, part of me just feels like something about them isn’t QUITE right.
