Can I be a Cosplayer too?

Cosplay is a phenomenon familiar to most of the online generation. Though many of the geeks who don their character of choice (whether it be from a movie, comic, video game or anime series) are far from appealing to the eye, the images featured here give hope to all the single male nerds who assume they're destined to marry female versions of themselves. My suggestion would be to find out where the next Cosplayer convention is and grab some tickets. Even if you don't manage to attract weird hot women who share your affection for make believe, I'll bet the next time you schedule a Sailor Moon DVD marathon (with memories of tangible women to connect with your anime sex idols), you'll enjoy it more.

No way, dude. Unless you are the least curious person in the entire world how could anyone possibly stay on their porch when there are thousands of costumed comic book/sci-fi/anime kids running around the streets like its Halloween. I ventured out into the nerd kingdom and took a picture at CVS (a drugstore chain) with a Japanese school girl and a Japanese French nurse that I kept as my cell phone background for two years until I just got a new cell phone…

@Shawna No different than going to a bar, club, or anywhere else. You just have to weed out the good ones. I imagine a guy would be better off finding a woman here than the reverse. Most of the guys, well… go do a Flickr search and you tell me if you’d attend for eye candy alone. Most of the women above were probably paid to be there in all actuality. @ElGuapo I can picture it now. I bet you stayed on your porch though.
