So, January is coming to an end and maybe you just realized you still don't have a 2009 wall calendar. If you're like me, you wait until after the holidays are over to purchase your new calendar. Why pay full price when you can get one for 75% off?? There's only one problem with this logic. By the time I went to check out the bookstores, the selection was less than stellar. Like WAY less than stellar. Nuns having fun? No thanks, not even for a mere $4.99. What awesomely horrible calendars did you see this year? Or were you lucky to get one of the good ones? I swear I won't judge you for proudly displaying your 2009 Jonas Brothers Calendar.

I mean, if it’s your thing, totally GO FOR IT. But I’m just wondering…is there anyone actually IN high school that enjoys the High School Musical movies?

And what kind of impression would I give if I had this hanging on my wall? I’d rather not know the date at all.

Yoga Dogs

WHY?? I love all kinds of dogs, but a) I don’t want a calendar full of dogs hanging on my wall and b) WHAT KIND OF DOG GETS INTO YOGA POSITIONS???

Even if you seriously love both dogs and yoga, I still don’t think this calendar is a good idea at all. What will your house guest/co-workers/family members think of you? NOT good things.

Another Nascar one. Coincidence? I think not.
I really like the picture of him dancing (I think?) in what looks like a red spandex suit. WTF? Also, why do only like two of the pictures have anything to do with car racing?

There’s really nothing to say about this. Even if you are a Nascar fan, WHY would you want this hanging on your wall?

Wait. Is it just me or didn’t this show end like 10 years ago? Does it still have fans rabid enough to purchase the wall calendar every year? Where do they get the new pictures from each year? So many questions and I have no answers.

I always like to imagine what the advertising/marketing meetings looked and sounded like when these calendar ideas came to light. An entire group of business-minded people, presumably, thought these were good ideas!
