I think a little sushi reconnaissance is in order. Sushi Sasa in Denver is outstanding – as good or better than Sushi Den and more understated. Japon and Tazu are also worth checking out.
Top notch sushi served with attitude. Sushi Den is one of Denver’s trendy spots to see and be seen. Always fresh fish, always well done and always pricey. To put it into perspective the Japanesse Premier selected Sushi Den for his restaurant of choice during a recent visit. The owner actually does have a sushi restaurant in Japan. Don’t expect to linger after dinner as “the Den” wants to turn tables.

Owned by two former Sushi Den sushi chefs, the Sushi Wave offers suburban sushi at its very best. Don’t let the strip mall location fool you.
Sushi Wave offers fresh and well done sushi and sashimi plus friendly service in an attractive environment. Extra bonus points for being a good value too!

This casual sushi haven is located just off the Boulder mall and is a sushi an sashimi insitution for Boulderites. On the weekends, a line forms before opening…it’s worth the wait.

Click here to log in.I agree with Nico, Sasa is Sassy… Went to Domo and was not impressed; however, most people LOVE Domo, but the seats hurt my tush.
