The Best Shisha & More at These AZ Hookah Lounges

To simply put it, this place is smoking awesome! They are a full-featured and gourmet Middle Eastern restaurant with a huge emphasis on quality ingredients, fine dining and of course, customer service. They also feature live music on the weekends and their food is bar-none freaking great!

If you are there eating you will surely enjoy your meal, made from very fresh ingredients and a taste that is second-to-none. When you are finished with your meal make a pit stop in their hookah lounge. Enjoy some of the highest quality and premium tobaccos to be found and indulge your senses.

While you are smoking make sure to catch a show by their belly dancers, which are at the place from time to time. You will not see better dancers in the state of Arizona. The location is grand, the service is great and the hookah lounge is terrific. If you are looking for the whole experience this place has got your fires rip roaring.

This small hookah bar located in the college town of South Tempe, Arizona is fairly popular—even if the exterior reminds one of an old Pizza Hut building. They have seating for about forty or more inside and they offer all flavors of hookah Shisha as well as some cold drinks and decent eats. Mostly a college crowd hangs out here composed of fraternity boys and others.

When at King Tut you will be able to smoke a hookah for about $10 per person. They also sell most accessories, parts, hookahs and Shisha. The place can be hard to find and get to because they are located on Apache BLVD and the whole street is currently undergoing construction and renovations.

While the building is aging, the service and the prices are good. Perhaps this combined with the college-like atmosphere was what prompted the Phoenix New Times to award with them with Best Hookah Lounge in Tempe. I personally had a great time last that I was here.

Located adjacent to the most popular non-franchise coffeehouse in South Scottsdale, and neatly tucked into the complex, is Pita House. This non-fancy, Middle-Eastern restaurant was opened by a very nice and welcoming Lebanese family about seven years ago.

Aside from the fact that they pride themselves on both their excellent food, which is amazing, and great service—they also happen to offer an outdoor hookah lounge on their patio.

They provide the hookah for free and all you have to do is pay for the Shisha, which is market-priced. For about $5 per person, you can enjoy smoking flavored Shisha from a huge hookah and enjoying the evening on their decently-sized patio. Culture Lebanese music plays from overhead speakers, adding to the experience.

The place itself is not really adorned with any decorations so to say. But it is very clean, well kept and nice. If one is able to staunch past the Old West atmosphere of Old Town Scottsdale, this place makes for a great hookah getaway for not too many bucks.

This seemingly small, yet very welcoming hookah lounge is almost hidden in a small retail complex in South Tempe. But when you do find your ways inside this place you will be quite surprised and happy that you decided to do your smoking here.

This café is decently sized inside and features about a dozen really nice sofas, loveseats and chair all arranged in sections for groups of people to sit and smoke at. Backlights that are strung throughout as well as cool decorations setting the right mood. They also have small and prepackaged foods that you can order like bagels and muffins as well as hot coffee, teas, and sodas.

Hookah costs about $10 per person here and they even have people who will come by and place new coals in your hookah to keep it hot and smoking. They feature live music most nights of the week, where Middle Eastern performers entertain the guests. And finally, they have belly dancers that will do dances from time to time either solo or in groups.

This smaller Middle Eastern restaurant in Tempe is best known for its gyros and other great Eastern Eats. But you can also smoke the hookah here and for cheap. They also sell hookahs and parts and they have plenty of great flavors of Shisha on hand. The service is decent and the prices are even better. It is one of the few hookah lounges that you can actually eat good food at that is freshly prepared.

While I have not been able to make it down to Sinbad’s as of yet — I have several good friends who have smoked there before. They told me that while the place was rather small and quaint they did offer great prices and service. They also have sodas and teas and they sell most hookah parts, accessories and of course, Shisha.
