Strike A Rocky Pose

You've hummed "Gonna Fly Now" while punching thin air (your toughest opponent) and imagined the day when you could huff and puff your way up the steps to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Then the glorious day comes when you come face to face with that infamous Philly moment, and then you run the 72 steps and Strike A ROCKY Pose!

Just In Case You Forget What The Pose Looks Like....

…there’s a Bronze statue at the bottom of the steps. Although Rocky (Sylvestor Stallone) commissioned the statue in 1983 and had it placed at the top of the Philly Arm Museum steps, it would later be moved to the Wachovia Spectrum Sports Complex after a BIG debate about the meaning of art. The statue was replaced with the infamous Rocky foot prints. In 2006, Rocky made his way back to the museum and now sits at the bottom of the steps waiting for his next photo opp. Talk about drama!

I thought I had a Rocky pose photo. But it’s just me at the bottom of the steps … no arms raised here!
