The Coolest Images (and 2 videos) on the Web
As someone who spends most of his free time (also known as "work" time), on the web, I am constantly coming across amazing content. This guide is a breakdown of the best photos on the net. Also tossed in 2 videos I could not possibly leave out.
Stunning Droplets
I don’t know about you guys, but I can stare at this simple photo for a long time. There’s something about it, in it’s simplicity that I find stunning.
Stunning Panoramic Landscape
The thing that makes this piece of photography so amazing to me is how vivid and beautiful the water is as you follow it all the way up. There is not a millimeter of space on this photo that is anything short of breathtaking in my opinion.
The definition of patience
So basically, this guy sits there with an X-acto knife and tweezers, and literally dissects books and turns them into this new version that peaks into the internal organization of the book. The result? Some of coolest looking creations I’ve personally ever seen.
Greatest Tombstone Ever?
I can only hope that when I die, my tombstone can be a hundredth as cool as Mr. Robert Clay Allison’s. “He never killed a man that did not need killing” WOW. If that’s not badass, I don’t know what is.
I've got some good news....
Somehow I don’t think he’s looking to help me save money on my car insurance…
Sky is Going to Fall Down
I’ve re-watched this video probably 30 times so far. There is something so incredibly beautiful about the way the water looks in the slow-motion film as it’s building up and ready to crash.
Life is Pretty Precious, huh
There were a few of these types of images that I could not choose between, but this one really grabbed me. You can sense how this moment plays out, with the bird’s life ended a millisecond later in the blink of an eye.
Of A Revolution
So much going on in this photo; the top of the building being lifted up showing all of the bright ideas floating away, the clever placement of the word “revolution” coming out from the inside, and the utter destruction and chaos going on towards the bottom. I love it. Enough said.
Portrait of Steve Jobs
This portrait, made by artist Dylan Roscover, was created using classic Apple typefaces. The coolest part of it, is the message within the portrait. Here’’s an exerpt:
“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently.
And while some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do."
Fast forward to :48 and tell me that is not amazing. This whole technology is incredible.
