Claremont, California is a hopping college town. There are some great places to stuff your face in the Claremont Village and I'm sharing my favorite with you. Enjoy!

Yiannis Greek Restaurant

The food is great and so is the atmosphere! No one can cook Greek like my mom (so you’re missing out), but Yiannis pulls a close 2nd! Anything you try here will get rave reviews from your stomach! We’re not talking Gyros, we’re talking REAL Greek food!

Walter's

American, Afghan and Middle Eastern food is offered at Walter’s. This is a great place for lunch with unique salads and tasty afghan fries. Don’t forget to try the Sunday Champagne brunch with a hot Cappuccino.

 

Aruffo's Italian Cuisine

Oh yeah baby! Gotta try this one! This little and quiet restaurant has a lot to offer. Great Italian food as well as a small bar with large drinks! If you’re into seafood, you have to try the seafood platter. For the appetizer, go for the elephant garlic…yum! The appetizer is great with a cosmopolitan martini! For dessert, try a slippery nipple!

Some Crust Bakery

This of course is not a restaurant, but it’s fantastic for your Cappuccino or Latte with a mouth watering danish!

Danson's Restaurant

A nice place for lunch when you sit on the patio by the misters.

I have been to Yianni’s Greek restaurant. He is good, but I am better. I am Greek as well and cook like nobody’s business!
