Mind-Blowing LEGO Creations!!
I remember how rewarding it felt to construct my first LEGO house from the 120-piece set I got on my 7th birthday. Fast forward to today, and the internet has managed to ruin yet another of my happiest childhood memories, as I know I'll never be as good at legotecture as any of these amazing builders are.
Han Solo in Carbonite
From the website of LEGO master Nathan Sawaya:
“Wanting do a Star Wars model, and also wanting to do something never been done before (to my knowledge), I decided to make Han Solo frozen in carbonite. Life size. It took about 10,000 bricks, almost all dark gray, and about three months of on and off building. I built the sculpture so it can break down easily into smaller parts, thus making it mobile. Because, like most people, I like to take large sculptures of people frozen in carbonite with me whenever I travel.”
(Functioning) LEGO PC
This LEGO PC case mod features a built-in LCD screen and HDTV tuner, all while managing to ooze 80’s LEGO style.

Tallest LEGO Tower in the World
This LEGO tower stands tall at 94 feet and was built with over 465,000 bricks. Apparently King Kong likes to swat down planes from the top of it.
Chewbacca
Built for the LEGO booth at Comicon 2007, word is that no detail was spared in building the 7-foot Wookie, from the bowcaster down to the matted ass fur.
Batman (Perched Atop Requisite Gargoyle)
Also from Comicon 2007
LEGO Porn
In light of this new evidence, I motion that “WTFF?” — as in “What The Flying Fuck?” — be added to our online acronym vernacular.

The Millenium Falcon
Geeks rejoice! Not only is this made from a readily-available kit, it’s in stock on Amazon for the meager sum of $500!
Terminator Bust

Why won’t it stop looking at me?
Playable Harpsichord
Other than the strings, this insane piece of LEGO musical dedication is all brick.

First watch THIS video.
Now watch the above. Trust me, what happens at the end is worth it.
Zombie Samurai Bust
Zombie? Samurai? LEGO? I think snyderman has won my LEGO heart forever.
Space Shuttle + Launchpad
This amazing piece is the result of 65,000 LEGO bricks and 1,590 hours of tough work. That’s more than triple the amount of real work I do in a year.

Predator Bust
As amazing as this creation truly is, I’m slightly hesitant to admit that I’m frightened by something made from LEGOs.

Massive LEGO Dragon
It took Katie Aldred (with her creation in the above photo) 2,200 hours and nearly one million LEGO bricks to create this behemoth for LEGOLAND Windsor in England. The dragon measures 30 feet long and weighs more than 2 tons.
LEGO Battleship Yamato
Jun Brick is legendary LEGO craftsman, as evidenced by his amazing recreation of the famous Japanese Battleship Yamato. This beast took six years and four months to make, measures over 21 feet in length, a height of over three feet, and weighs in at over three hundred thirty pounds.
Mr. Brick’s Website
The Pirates of the Caribbean theme music makes it somehow all the more epic.
The 2008 Beijing Olympics
From the Bird’s Nest stadium to the Olympic Village, this replica of the grounds was built in Hong Kong and took more than 100 hours to complete. Full gallery over at FUNNbee.
Pinball Machine
Yes, it’s playable, and yes, it’s made completely from LEGOs. Well actually more like 99% LEGO, but that’s more than passable if you ask me.

Golden Bear
This is another great one from Nathan Sawaya, aka “The Brick Artist.”
Make sure you check out his full gallery for many more amazing LEGO sculptures!
Abston Church of Christ
Made by self-proclaimed LEGOhead Amy Hughes, this fantastic church of brick will seat over 1,300 minifigs; but the only time they really need to worry about being that full is on Easter Sunday and Christmas Eve.
MP5s
Since they’re only made of LEGOs, why not carry one of these with you everywhere? Churches, Schools, the airport; surely nothing bad would come of it.
This piece of work fires up to 11 rounds (64 shots total) in one clip.
WARNING Obnoxious techno music alert!
Crossbow
Not only is it made entirely out of LEGOs (cord notwithstanding), but it will fire a LEGO brick almost 20 yards, is semi-automatic with pump action, and can hold up to 5 shots.
On a side note, am I the only one surprised by the amount of LEGO weaponry out there?
Stephen Hawking
The guys over at Forever Geek pose an interesting question — is this awesome or just wrong?
For the record, my vote = awesome.
Difference Engine
Here we have a fully functional mechanical computing device modeled after Charles Babbage’s difference engine. Built by mathematician Andy Carroll, it is able to solve 2nd and 3rd-order polynomial mathematical problems and calculate the answers to 3 or 4 digits. I like it because of the pretty yellow color.
Now all we need is a someone to build a mega-stack that also houses a SNES and N64. Then I would definitely never leave the house.
