Thinking about proposing??
So maybe you can’t afford to let your girl choose her own ring….that’s fine, just never make a mistake but saying this:
- “You win.”
- “We’re not getting any younger . . .”
- “In spite of what my mother says . . .”
- “I have sowed my wild oats.”
Looking for love? How About a little "serendipity?"
New York makes me feel romantic, and even more so when I watch movies ABOUT New York and people finding romance in it. So what it may be fiction, but when Kate Beckinsale scribbled her number on a book for John Cusack in Serendipity, and chatted with her friend over a Frozen Hot Chocolate, I was taking notes.
The whole idea is that you aren’t supposed to search for serendipity, it just happens, but if you’re having some issues, take some notes from the movie;
Visit: Serendipity 3 and order the Frozen Hot Chocolate, who knows, maybe you’ll share it with “someone special.”
Go to a wedding at The Waldorf Astoria and rock your fanciest wedding gear while partaking in a nice open bar. Damn, I love a good wedding.
Still haven’t bumped into your love?
Try ice skating at Rockefeller Plaza, hopefully he/she won’t just “skate on by.”
Famous Parks and hippies.
Washington Square is the quintessential movie visual, the arch, the NYU students hanging out on the steps munching on hot dogs and playing guitar discussing the meaning of life. Washington Square’s arch deserves it’s own Oscar. It’s is box office hit in itself. Here’s the proof as seen in:
When Harry Met Sally
Hitch, Will Smith dominates the New York City movie scene, how about I AM LEGEND? He technically owned the whole damn city, him and all those crazy zombies.
August Rush, this is where poor little August turned tricks for money. Or something along those lines.
Searching For Bobby Fischer, if you’ve got some Chess skills this the spot for you. Compete against a 90 year old man, who will whoop your ass.
Have Your Own Lucid Dream like Tom in Vanilla Sky
QUICK TIP ON ENHANCING YOUR LUCID DREAM:
“Upon awakening in the morning, do not move!!
Stay in bed for a while and recall your dreams before you flood your mind
with everything you are going to do for the day
If you have trouble remembering them try to
change your position in bed: lie on your right side for awhile, then your back,
then left: sometimes the position you where in when you had the dream helps
increase recall of that dream”
A couple more techniques:
spin around in circles when you sense
that your lucidity is fading within a dream
rub your hands
together or any other action that uses your sense of touch
-
focus on
any one particular detail in the dream: your hands, the ground beneath you,
a stone on the road, a tree, etc…
In your lucid dream remember to say, “I’ll see in in the next life, when we are both cats”...Hey, it sounded cool when Penelope Cruz said it.
