What we do:

  1. We obtain all three of your reports and scores.
  2. We review each item with you (amounts owed, who claims you owe them, the dates accounts were opened and closed).
  3. Review all inquiries found within. *Inquiries adversely impact your scores each deleted inquiry can raise your score 2-5 points.
  4. Review previous addresses, phone numbers, employers, and spouse names’ found within your report. *Incorrect personal information does not impact your score but helps keep your records accurate for future loan applications in the future. *Lenders use a tri-merged report to pull credit and may request a letter of explanation as to why your current employer is not listed, thus slowing your loan application.
  5. With your oral statements we determine what items are incorrectly reporting on your reports. *70% of Americans have been denied credit due to inaccurate or obsolete information obtained from their reports.
  6. We write to the CRA’s and advise them of the discrepancies. *Credit bureaus have 30-45 days to respond, verify, validate or delete the disputed tradeline.
  7. We also write to your creditors and collectors requesting the validate the account as belonging to you. *Creditors have 45 days to validate (prove you owe the debt) or cease their collection efforts.
  8. We write to those who inquired on your report requesting your signed authorization for their inquiry. *Companies who inquire your credit report must maintain records of authorization by the consumer for two years. If they fail to furnish your authorization they must withdraw their inquiry.
  9. We then collect all the responses of these parties and furnish the CRA’s with their responses if they haven’t already done so.
  10. Finally, your credit report will take 30-60 days for the scores to be readjusted to reflect the deleted tradeline and/or inquiries
