So. You've seen the movies. You've recognized the spots (or at least some of them). Spend the day being Unbreakable looking for Signs in the Village...well...you get the point.

M. Night's Philadelphia

30th Street Station

30th & Market St Philadelphia, Philadelphia, PA 19104

Frazzled commuters? Meandering Travelers? Masses of people escaping a possible terrorist attack? 30th Street Station is the heart of transportation offering access to all local and regional rail lines and, hey, ground transportation too. (not to mention some rad architecture) 30th street was featured in the most recent M. Night release-The Happening (2008).

So now what?

At this point feeling the urge to have a straight up movie marathon to view in ‘action’ all the places you saw today is to be expected.  You have the option to go raid your dvd collection, hit up your local blockbuster or check out this short video for a creative spin on M. One of the five original William Penn planned open space parks is also the setting for some chaos in The Happening (2008). Go there, take a load off on a nice park bench, but BEWARE OF THE..oh wait…don’t want to spoil the movie for those who haven’t seen it. ;)

cornfield.

cornfields

ok, ok. It’s not the official cornfield from Signs (2002) but in order to find one get in your car and drive. Eventually you will find one! And here’s a question. How did YOU feel about the appearance of the cornfields during that movie? I, personally, felt a little uncomfortable with the greeny green-ness of the stalks. Huh-ELL-O. Fall in Pennsylvania? Stalks are dry, dead and brown. Just sayin’!
