Teton is a city in Fremont County, Idaho, United States. The population was 569 at the 2000 census.

On January 8, 2008, more than 30 residents of Stephenville, Texas reported seeing a large object described as being about a mile long and a half-mile wide with bright lights being chased by what appeared to be fighter jets. The Air Force claims they had no aircraft in the area at the time of the sightings and says the objects may have been an illusion caused by two commercial airplanes. One resident described the object as “an arch shape converted in a vertical shape, and then it split and made two of them, and then these turned into just fire and it was gone.”

At 1:40 a.m. in August 1979 in Marshall County, Minnesota, Deputy Sheriff Val Johnson was on duty and driving close to the North Dakota border when his patrol car was struck by a blinding ball of light. Johnson was knocked unconscious, and his patrol car was damaged.

Peebles is a village in Adams County, Ohio, United States. The population was 1,739 at the 2000 census.

The International UFO Museum & Research Center uses exhibits and artifacts to explore the Roswell Incident of July, 1947, where supposedly a UFO crashed and was subsequently covered up by the United States Military. Every year, the UFO Museum is one of the main facilities for the annual Roswell Festival, a gathering of UFO-enthusiasts and scholars to discuss and celebrate the fascinating incident. The museum is located in the center of downtown, near Cahoon Park.

Also, a row of seats in the upper deck of Coors Field, home of Major League Baseball's Colorado Rockies (NL), is marked in purple (one of the team's colors) to indicate that the row is one mile above sea level. The city's elevation, as surveyed at Denver International Airport, is 5,431 ft (1,655 m).Denver has also been known historically as the Queen City of the Plains because of its important role in the agricultural industry of the plains regions along the foothills of the Front Range. Several US Navy ships have been named USS Denver in honor of the city.

On September 27, 2007, around 5:45 A.M., a white object with a black dot, most likely a hole, was seen in the skies above Chandler, Arizona. Several videos exist featuring this object, all taken at different times and locations. It is referred to as the “Aztec Death Star”

On the evening of October 11, 1973, 42-year-old Charles Hickson and 19-year-old Calvin Parker — co-workers at a shipyard — were fishing in the off a pier on the west bank of the Pascagoula River in Mississippi. While fishing at the abandoned shipyard, they heard a whirring/whizzing sound, saw flashing blue lights, and reported that a domed, football-shaped aircraft, some 100 feet across, suddenly appeared near them. The ship seemed to levitate about 14 inches above the ground. On the ship, Hickson claimed that he was somehow levitated or hovered a few feet above the floor of the craft, and was examined by a mechanical eye that seemed to scan his body. Parker could not recall what had happened to him inside the craft, although later, during sessions of hypnotic regression he offered some hazy details. The men were released after about 20 minutes and the creatures levitated them back to their original position on the river bank.
