Who doesn't love a nice relaxing bubble bath? But really, the bubbles can completely make the bath. So where do you find the bubbles and products you need to have the most relaxing, luscious bath possible? Check out this guide to learn what Boston shops can help you find the ultimate in bath and body relaxation.
Sephora
Sephora is my go-to store for oh, just about everything. My favorite part of the store is probably their Philosophy products, but they seriously have every bath and beauty product you can imagine.
And if you’re ever in the market for a new perfume, check out Sephora because they have pretty much every kind ever invented.
Philosophy products are my favorite things in the world. I especially love the cinnamon buns shower gel, but the grapefruit and eggnog are fab too. I love them all.
There’s no doubt that Newbury St. has some of the best bath and beauty shops in Boston!
Fresh
Fresh has a whole line called “sugar” so you must already know you’re going to love it. Add sugar cubes to your bath, roll on sugar deodorant, and rub sugar onto your lips. You can basically cover yourself in sugar if you shop at Fresh. Yes, please.
Fresh also carries tons of fabulous makeup and awesomely scented perfumes. There’s nothing better than feeling fresh!
C.O. Bigelow is one of my favorite stores because, while I love their bubble baths and shower gels, I am 100% obsessed with their lip blams. In flavors like vanilla cola, spearmint, and black cherry, I basically use them all day long. I might be slightly addicted to the soothing lip buffer too.
Oh, and the lemon body cream is also pretty amazing. Just go here and try to get out without buying anything.
My favorite items at L’Occitane are definitely all of their lavender scented bath and body products. But really, everything is sophisticated and pretty smelling. So much so, that the Lenox hotel uses L’Occitane products in theirbathrooms.
The company has a whole “Philosophy” page on their website:
“With its roots in Provence, L’OCCITANE shares the colors, scents and traditions of the south of France with the world. As the company continues to grow, L’OCCITANE remains committed to its core values of Sensorality, Authenticity and Respect.”
The Body Shop is another great go-to shop for bath and body products that are trust-worthy and affordable. People go absolutely crazy for their body butters, but their tea tree oil facial products also make for a nice blemish-free face.
I love anything pink grapefruit scented and The Body Shop’s smells so authentic, you almost want to eat it!
I never get sick of raving about Lush. The store on Newbury St. smells absolutely amazing from the second you walk in and the products and colors are so beautiful. Lush has handmade bath and beauty products, everything from soaps to shampoos to body butters. I especially love their bath bombs, that you throw in the tub for some fizzy fun.
Lush products are a little bit pricey, but oh so worth it. And they make the perfect gifts for just about everyone on your list.
Kiehl’s offers some of the most trust-worthy and simple products. I’m a big fan of their body scrubs, especially the Creme de Corps Soy Milk and Honey Body Polish. But they have products for everyone, no matter your skin type- all the way from “very dry” to “very oily.” I’d be very surprised if you didn’t find something perfect for you at Kiehl’s!
Origins carries ginger-scented products that are deliously amazing. But probably the best invention ever is their Jump Start line. These products are designed to wake you up in the morning (something most of us need!). With body scrubs, lotions, shampoos, and soaps, if Origins can’t wake you up, I’m not sure what will.
While Bath & Body Works has the tendency to remind me a bit of middle school, it’s also one of the best places to go for some great bath and beauty products at low prices. Of course they carry their old stand-bys like Country Apple and Freeshia, but they also have tons of new, exciting products and scents. One of my new faves is Sea Island Cotton.
Plus, Bath & Body Works also carries lots of CO Bigelow, Jaqua, and more!
I’m pretty much in love with Bath & Body Works anti-bacterial soaps.
