I love your writing style…and the dots? That is just too bizarre to imagine. Glad I don’t live there…I’d go nuts!

Hello, Leigh- Thanks for the comment on my Phillies and Post-Game Revelry Guide. Being a Philadelphian, I was particularly intrigued by the Pennsylvania phenomena you described in this one. Perhaps you might find this link interesting, in terms of the origins of the dots: http://www.roadwaysafety.org/RSF%20Reporter/1st…

Another comment about the dots… I find myself obsessing over them. I try so hard to keep the two dot rule, and when someone pulls one dot in front of me, it ruins my whole scheme. I end up driving 5 mph and getting very frustrated. I love the Amish Crossing road sign!

Crazy, I never knew about those dots! Great guide!

Oh, the road dots. They’re about as funny a PA roadside discovery as the “Drunk Driving: You Can’t Afford It” signs that always gave me the impression that the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation had given up and just taken up name calling.

Your odd dot story reminded me of something… I heard that the guy who invented those small white round “turtles” in the middle of the road gets $.01 for every turtle.

Dots? On my interroads? It’s more likely than you may think.
