Been to a lot of these places now that I have two young kids. I want to check out the discovery center in Fort Collins, that looks like fun. We haven’t been in awhile, but you are correct about the Trail Dust Steak House. The kids absolutely loved the slide.
I love your comment about the White Fence Farm, “good for the very old or very young”. This is one of my 89-year-old Grandma’s favorite places to take kids.
Cost effective bouncing located in Littleton…a big hit for the under 8 crowd. Tons of bouncing options and birthday parties where kids say “WOW, that was great” and parents say “WOW, what a relief!” One of the best Bouncy House values.

An amusement park and shopping (read cheesy rundown curio) village. With many rides specifically tailored to the 6 and undergroup. Don’t miss the JungleQuest ziplines and Alpine Slide. Yes…it’s ghetto but the kids love it.

Situated in a beautiful setting on Cheyenne Mountain in Colorado Springs…you’ll experience an unforgettable adventure combining breathtaking mountain scenery with more than 750 animals from around the world. Not a low ticket outing but the aquarium makes kids happy. For a splurge try: lunch in the “Water Room”, viewing fish and animals, feeding stingrays, climbing “palm trees”, and jumping in the hidden (and free) indoor play structure. Not a zoo but tigers too?!

On the way to Boulder…why not take a pit stop in Broomfield at The Butterfly Pavilion? This venue combines science education with hands-on fun to teach visitors about invertebrates, science and conservation. Don’t forget to hold Rosie the Tarantula.

Fine Dining at its Best! Yea Right!
Maybe not gourmet but a favorite with little ones.
A small farm, well tiny actually, ok just a couple of animals located in the suburb of Lakewood. Fried chicken served family style. Catering to the very young or very old. The kids love the animals and the indoor power slide!
