Everyone has a blog. And if you don't, the odds are that you will in the next 20 seconds. Approximately 61,000 new blogs are created every day. That's a lot of material to sift through. So instead of making everyone find the blogging gems in the Internet mines, lets just tell each other where to go. Give up your favorite food blogs, funny blogs, business blogs, frog leg blogs, balloon animal blogs, personal blogs (let's see that shameless self-promotion!) or any other variation thereof.

My Old Kentucky Blog is easily my favorite music blog out there. It is constantly updated with videos, interviews, MP3’s and more. Plus, what other music blog (or any blog) can claim the fact that Colonel Sanders is keeping a vigilant eye on all things happening at MOKB.

The writing nuggets on dooce run from daily pictures of the author’s dog to dealing with mental illness, to photography, to a journal dump. Each one of these topics, whether serious or not, is laced with a spiky line of funny.

Cake Wrecks

Cake Wrecks has definitely made the Internet rounds. Even my mom was forwarding me hilarious cake mishaps. Its popularity does not change the fact that this blog is still one of my favorites.

Social media maven Gwen Bell’s blog is perfect for voyeurs (she’s going to livestream her wedding in a few days) and smarty-pants alike (think smart, funny, and enlightening posts explaining all there is to know about SEO, social media, and personal branding).

My wife found Smitten Kitchen and has been a regular ever since. Her finding this site and becoming a regular has been great news for me and my stomach. If my stomach could type, this entire guide would be Smitten Kitchen over and over and over. Based out of an 80 square-foot kitchen, these recipes have not disappointed yet. And trust me, I’ve tried A LOT of them.
