50 Things To Love About Life Other Than Money!

Friends

Apart from family a person has friends to be thankful for. These people are the family you choose. Pictured here are two of my favorite people in the entire world and I. They are Cricket and Davey. They are some of the most magnificent people I have ever met and I would entrust anything with them. They are good for a real chat or a long laugh. Whatever it is you need a real friend is there, indeed!

Nature

Thank goodness we live in such a beautiful world. Nature itself is so full of magic and mystery. Just to sit in it and soak it up, to be a part of it makes me feel such a deep sense of comfort. I am so appreciate of all the trees, the grass, and blue skylines. The sun and the moon and all the other stars at night. The cries of the wolf and the coo of birds exclaiming to all of earth that they are alive and well and thankful is enough to keep me satisfied solely upon it’s own. I believe a person can learn more about the world by experiencing more and more aspects of nature. It is mans true desire to be one of a whole.

Pets

This is my lovely cat Kubrick. He is all kinds of awesome. Pets are great for calming and comforting the soul. I am so happy that I have such a sassy animal of my own.

Dreams

A person has so many things that another can never take away from them, their dreams being one very strong one. I don’t know where I would be without my dreams and my wonderful imagination. Everyone should hold on tightly to all the dreams they have ever had.

Holidays

Seriously how awesome are holidays? They sure rock my socks off! Love Halloween! Love Thanksgiving!

Laughter

Fire

Fire is such an exquisite and natural phenomenon I adore it so very much! It is hot hot hot, smells fantastic, sounds so soothing and it’s just such a sweet addition to any get together!

Magic

Yeah I do believe in magic, in a young girl’s heart!

Night Walking

I love to walk and especially at night. There is just something so crisp and clear and relaxing about the night air as you slowly make your way down a block. In the country there is just nothing like being out in the street lights at night seeing whatever is alive out there that most people take for granted and never get the chance to see.

Children

I am so happy that the world has such wonderful, humerus, and delicate creatures as a child. The wonderment and delight that beams off from them is so particular and so pure. I wish sometimes that we all had the same hearts and imagination as we did when we were children.

Teamwork

Or just working with another person on any task in life is a great thing. I am thankful we are intelligent enough to understand and utilize the existence and help of others!

People Watching

I enjoy people and I am definitely thankful for them. I love to people watch. It allows me to set myself apart and see the world as an outside force or it lets me step in and see it as an inside force whichever I’m in the mood for. People watching is like watching life’s stories unfold. Delightful!

Hookah

This is a possession but it is more the interaction that I enjoy. Sitting around with friends smoking the Hookah is alway such a pleasant experience.

Swimming

One of my favorite activities ever! It is so relaxing and such a good exercise for the whole body.

Conversation

This is honestly one of my very favorite things life has to offer us. A moment of expression towards one another. Conversation is so varied and so very important. I don’t believe I could ever get enough conversation. I could be up for a good long talk or a humorous rant back and forth in an instant. Interaction between one another is such an important and stellar thing. It excites me so!

Reading

Reading is simply wonderful. And as above I love sharing even this with a friend.

Relationships

Are great teachers in life. I am thankful for all the relationships I have ever had with any person. My relationships have taught me many valuable life lessons. Each relationship with another person is a reflection upon the relationship one has with themselves and I believe this is great food for thought!

Parties

Parties are fanfreakingtastic! They can be big or they can be small. They can be loud or they can be calmed down but a good get together is just that a good time with good people! Whether or not there is lots of craziness going on all around you or you are just simply part of a small group getting together for dinner it’s still fun and awesome. Parties comes in all shapes and sizes and for all kinds of purposes but the main object is always to have a good time. Parties are about celebrating all that is good in life and that’s a lot!

Body Art

It is a bit random but it is ancient and it is awesome. Regardless of whether it is real or just a marker :D
I can remember getting into trouble when I was younger for having draw all over my arms. But is was really fun and I enjoyed it.

Family

This is a photo of my mother and me. She is my hero. I am so very thankful that I have so one so strong, independent, and just plain awesome as a mother. She will be a guiding light for all eternity!

Weakness and Strength

I am thankful for weakness that is actually strength. Sensitivity is a perfect example. Many people view it as a weakness but in the right situation it is a perfect strength within a person. I am thankful for my sensitivity towards the arts and towards emotion. It has caused me to become the strong person I am today.

Birth

Such an extraordinary, delicate, and beautiful thing. This is a photo I took after Shinks had her first kitten from her second litter. It was truly one of the most fantastic events I have ever seen take place. Reproduction is brilliant!

Kisses

Whether you receive a kiss or give a kiss or whether it is from a family member, a friend, or a lover a kiss is one of the most intimate ways of expressing love for one another. I just love kisses.

Our Spirit

I am thankful for our youth and our spirit. I am so glad we are more than just flesh. Knowing this, brings me so much comfort and joy.

I love to write. It is one of my very favorite things to do and I bet I write at least one line of poetry everyday. I wouldn’t have survived so much without my passion for writing. Writing is wonderful and important for everyone.

I truly believe that a person is best defined by their thoughts or feelings about something. It determines the moves they make the road they take and so on. Having the ability to understand and to contemplate on a regular basis is a gift I know most of us take for grated but I am eternally grateful for the abilities I have been given.

I love to pretend. Here I am pretending I’m a model! Much of what I enjoy in life is based all in good fun. I love to pretend to be the model or the professional photographer. It is time that will tell if either become true but for now I am content with imagining!

Drawing/Coloring/Painting/Creating

This is a picture Jenna drew of Seth, Cricket, and I. It is pastel on paper. I think it is quite spiffy. I am grateful that we have the power to create truly anything if we set our minds to it. I am thankful and happy for each and every day.

While I sometimes take for granted what I have I still deep down realize how important and how awesome the things and gifts I do have in life are.

I don’t always realize what good just one person can bring the world but I know that every time a wheel spins there is a revolution.

I believe in love for everything and I know it is the creation of us and our future. I believe we are infinite in all sense of the word and we fail miserably to truly comprehend this.

Yet I am working on it everyday. I am trying to look for happiness within myself and outside of other forces. I have never been a materialistic person and I live in such a materialistic world. I don’t like it.
