Ever since the early 1950s—and in some cases even earlier—viewers have enjoyed watching funny animal videos. So why should the present day be any different? However, unlike the funny animal videos of the past, which typically involved monkeys that were dressed up with horrible voice-overs, the funny animal videos of today allude to anything and everything in between. It seems for certain, indeed, that the invention of the portable camera has allowed us to find more funny animal videos then ever thought possible. What begins as a joyride for kids on teenage elephants at a zoo in Thailand ends up becoming something pretty damn funny to watch. A child who is riding upon a younger elephant is treated to the candor and humor that young elephants will commonly display when the elephant starts dancing, literally, kicking its legs to and fro.
Two brother tigers are very quick to realize the benevolent pranks of a tree side monkey who has a sense of humor. As the two brother tigers play in the jungle, a very courageous monkey sweeps down from upper branches swatting them on the butt and making them really peeved. To no avail, this monkey is far too quick for these young tigers. But with all of this caught on tape, it’s really about three minutes of sheer laughter.
This video, shot at a zoo in the US by kids, depicts a giraffe exhibit where children amongst many other onlookers are enjoying the exotic animals and scenery. One of the giraffes, apparently not so enthused, begins to look over at the children and stick his tongue out in a childish manner.

Everything kitties do is caught, from falling off tables to bouncing on furniture to even stealing desert off the table from a hole cut underneath. Cats are just oh so funny and adorable.
If you think your dog is well trained wait until you see this hot video. A very beautiful golden retriever balances a treat on its nose from its owner. Then with a quick snap it devours it. Literally, the dog pops the treat off its nose and eats it faster than the eye can follow; cute and funny at the same time.
This horse is more like a dog than it is like a horse. The owner forgetfully leaves a nose collar attachment on the ground. The horse notices this new toy in his pen and immediately picks up the collar and begins twirling it around in its mouth like a toy. Horse meets dog in this hilarious and funny animal video.
If you are scared of snakes, watch what happens when this snake trainer is talking about the tricks he is about to do with his trained snake. Only the snake has already gotten loose and is crawling beneath his legs as he talks. The owner passes out from his fear, but is fine in the end. Still pretty damn funny to watch.
If you love dolphins as much as I do then you will truly love this great video. It’s a dolphin responding to a man blowing a whistle. After a moment the dolphin surfaces and nears the man. Then it literally jumps out of the water to give the man loving hugs. Cute, funny and really rare; wish I could hug a dolphin.
This fish, which is called a jumping Oscar, loves to nibble on fingertips. A man has a decently sized tank with these types of fish inside of it. He merely traces his fingers along the top of the water and the fish comes flying out of the water to nibble—harmlessly—on his fingertips.
If you ever thought that raccoons could not be adorable and lovable at the same time—all of garbage picking aside—then think again. This adopted raccoon has one fancy with human appendages: he loves to suck on thumbs! As shown in this funny and cute video, this coon can not get enough of his human mother’s thumb.
A family on a safari of animal watching somewhere in Africa is treated to meeting the most friendly zebra you will ever seen, and they catch it all on tape. This zebra is not intimidated by people at all. It comes right up to their car and sticks his head right in the window and begins mouthing and kissing and basically harassing this family. He is lovable, cute and awesome!
This Japanese owl is a bit different looking than any owl that I am sure you have ever seen. When playing host on a TV show in Japan, he is treated to meeting a jack-in-the-box toy for the very first time. When the jack pops out of the box, the owl begins to mimic the jack, taking an immediate fancy to it.
This parrot is just really funny. He knows his name and will answer questions on a game show for Animal Planet—no kidding. He impersonates all sorts of animals, from tigers to pigs to penguins. He talks all over the place, makes sound effects, and even impersonates people. You will never see a smarter bird—this is hilarious—and it even “Gets Down” and parties.
Aside from the fact the deer can be really cute, this one truly takes the cake. A man is video taping his small dog barking at a wild deer that clambers into the shot. Then, out of nowhere, the dog and deer begin to play chase. The deer even comes up to man and says hello at the end of the video.
If you have ever thought that farm animals can do some strange and sometimes funny things for observant famers who happen to own a digital camera, then you are absolutely correct. This rooster gets comfy perched on a thin wire fence. But what happens next is hilarious. He starts swinging to and fro, enjoying the fence like it was a children’s playground.
These baby ducks are just trying to follow their mother around and not get lost or stray too far off. This becomes a serious challenge when the mother climbs some rather tall stairs and the babies are not so quick to follow. They keep trying to make it up the stairs but to no avail. However, they do eventually all meet up with mom again.
A professional tap dancer and his pet cow show the world that cows have an amazing talent. Not really, it is just a commercial for milk in Germany. But the cow and the dancer are very real. Whether or not the dancing is real, who knows. One thing is for certain, it’s really funny!
This black bear has been watching the campers and he knows exactly what it is he wants. If you thought food wrong, think again. Second to food, a bear has one other famous hobby: sleeping soundly! This bear watches humans and realizes that taking a nap in a hammock can prove to be, well, rather comfortable! Thankfully it’s all caught on tape for us to enjoy!
