If you’re all about finding bargain beauty goodies (and who isn’t these days), head on over to Target. There are plenty of drugstore brands that rival more expensive ones, and Target has them all at great prices. Because when magazine after magazine rates a product like Maybelline Great Lash mascara tops year after year, why spend more than you have to? Target also carries brands like British favorite Boots, Bare Escentuals, and the always-great Sonia Kashuk line – so you even have more to choose from than just Cover Girl.

And when it comes to hair styling tools, Target is a no-brainer. They have an almost overwhelming selection of the latest curling irons, flat irons, hot rollers, and hair dryers at all price points for your primping pleasure.

Don’t be afraid to shop Target for nice, decently-made, affordable rugs. They also carry made-for-Target lines from Mary Kate & Ashley (!), Shabby Chic, and Thomas O’Brien. Hint: check the website to browse their huge selection there, first; all styles may not be at your local store, and shipping is usually free.

Target has most of the non salon quality shampoos, and a huge selection at that. And the prices are amazing! Like a lot better than CVS. Unfortunately, thre aren’t any Targets right in Boston, but it’s not too hard to get to the Somerville or Watertown Targets.

Don’t overlook Target’s chain store rep for cool, hip dishware. They’ve got it, and a lot of it, and at affordable prices. (Hint: any store that offers a bridal registry, like Target does, will always have an excellent selection of anything kitchen-related. Dishware included.) Make sure to check out their great selection of serveware, too.
