The best happy hour deal in LODO. An upscale genuine Italian restaurant in a beautiful setting and great location. I’d rate it high on happy hour and average on the full meal deal. Not top of the line Italian, but when you’re paying $4-5 for sampler plates, it’s damn hard to complain. Also happy hour covers most of the day and early evening, so it’s also a find for lunch.

Venice is located in downtown Denver, in the Lower Downtown (LoDo) portion and was desperately needed and wonderfully received as soon as it it opened. From the opening hours each evening…treating early birds to a stand-out happy hour, to the last entree plated each night, Venice and it’s staff send out what some consider to be the best this Western city has to offer. Risotto, Gnocchi, fish, veal and other notable dishes are sure to please. I’m not a huge fan of the mural of Venice on the wall, but for food this good, I’ll forget about it.
