Now that summer's here, and the recession still seems to be in full swing, it's only logical to seek out beach-side happy hour deals. What better to make you forget your credit card debt than cheap drinks and ocean breezes?

Like Pink Taco, this bar is in the Century City Mall— so it doesn’t have the best ambiance. But, it’s not a bad choice if you’re looking to enjoy a drink and get some fresh air— the whole bar is outside. Happy hour is everyday (from 3pm to 7pm,) and drinks are 2 for 1. And here’s where they won over my heart: complimentary plantain chips!

I watched game 3 here, and while it’s a pretty random spot to watch the game (it’s upstairs in the Century City Mall), it actually wasn’t half bad. They’ve got some good happy hour specials (the beers are buy one, get one free), and they have a couple of flat screen TVs dotted around the bar area. They also have outdoor couches where you can kick back and watch the game, but you’re better off sitting at the bar if you want prime viewing.
