Having never been to New Orleans, my experience with Cajun food hews pretty closely to a box of Zatarain’s Red Beans and Rice. As such, I have no idea if this food is authentic, I only know that it is EXCELLENT. Their big focus is on their Po’ Boy sandwiches, and you can get a variety of hot or cold. I’m partial to the fried catfish Po’Boy. They also do a Sunday brunch with a Jambalaya scrambled that will make you wish you had discovered this place sooner. Also, if you’re going…get an order of the wings. Not to be missed.

They only do brunch on Sunday, but it is worth the drive out. Spicy Bloody Marys, Jambalaya scrambles, thick Cinnamon French Toast with a side of Andouille sausage. My mouth is watering just thinking about this place. Of course, you’ll want to save room for the Begnettes: fluffy, puffy donuts sweetened only with powdered sugar.
