Two words: Authentic and seriously awesome. Okay, so that was technically three words, but this place is truly a hidden jem in NYC’s East Village. Seating roughly around 15 people at one time, the food and atmosphere is worth any wait time. From the guacamole to the huge pitchers of sangria, Pinche is affordable while at the same time perfect for a night out on the town with a group of friends or a hot date ;) Try it and you certainly will not regret it!…plus, anything that has goat cheese involved on more than three items on the menu is A ok with me!
The place is completely run by a family who anyone can relate to, and I really felt i was in the hands of people who truly had the best interests of their patrons in mind. Me and my two fellow diners split a quacamole, goat cheese ravioli, and a queso fundido and were beyond full by the time we finished. The pitcher of sangria definitely helped. In the end, no one was left wanting for anything, and we were more than ready to continue our night out in full East Village glory.
