"Really? This is it?" That's how I feel sometimes when the clock strikes midnight on New Years or you see a really crappy fireworks display or you go to a bragged-about restaurant and it sucks. Overrated! What do you make scornful "Whatever" hands for?

I hate you. But everybody loves you. Because I am a little pompous, I think I’m right and everybody else is wrong. I’m sorry, but your coffee sucks, almost as much as your hipster clientele. Your funny signs outside don’t make up for the burnt java and your uncomfortable seats definitely don’t help your cause.

Coffeehouses seem to be the place where all kinds of genius happen. Also, they’re the places where one can stare at a female barista for an almost inappropriate amount of time and think “She’s just like that girl in that Dashboard song.” That isn’t to say that work can’t get done at Gorilla; it’s just not likely to happen.
