If you want to a classier level of shopping than what Safeway has to offer, Lunardi’s is the way to go. They have a smaller selection of packaged goods, but they tend to have more gourmet things (like picked asparagus, my favorite snack). They have a bakery and deli that must make regular supermarkets cry.

A great little upscale supermarket. I’ve only seen these in the South Bay. They do a crazy delicious pesto pasta salad. They also have a great cheese selection.
