I used to go to Seattle every couple of weeks for work. Seattle + expense account = good eats! If you're not on an expense account, a few of these places are a little spendy, but damn the food is good.

To paraphrase Laurie Anderson, talking about Marjorie is like dancing about architecture. Words just don’t do the trick. It’s not just how great the food is. Eclectic but real food served with a great vibe, Marjorie is one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. They live up to their tagline “Food for the Soul”. The indoor space is a bit cramped and diners vie for seats out in the alley courtyard. Website is at www.trenchtownrocks.com.

Marjorie serves food with panache and heart. Contemporary fusion in a laid-back atmosphere in funky Belltown.
