Whole Foods in Beacon Hill is my favorite place to buy Emergen-C because you can buy it in the individual packets. At most stores you have to buy a huge box of just one flavor (how boring!). I like to go to Whole Foods and stock up on a wide variety of flavors so I’m never bored by my Emergen-C!
It is often difficult to find Haagen-Dazs peanut butter ice cream (trust me, I KNOW), even when a store stocks every other kind of Haagen Dazs. I have no idea why this ridiculousness is allowed to occur, but it’s incredibly frustrating. However, Whole Foods almost always has the peanut butter flavor in stock, so head there when you get the craving!

Whoe Foods has magazines? Yes. They have a few non-mainstream magazines, plus some local goodies, like Boston magazine. For the most part, all of the magazines Whole Foods carry fit the Whole Foods image. Like Martha Stewart’s Body and Soul. Of course a Whole Foods shopper would want to read that! They have lots of healthy eating and vegetarian magazines. And for some reason, I always notice that they carry Ad Busters, probably because not a lot of stores do.
