Ever since I moved back to LA I've been a serial neighborhood hopper. And why not? In a city as large and sprawling as LA it seems a shame not to explore its many, many neighborhoods. Here are my personal faves.

I LOVE this place. The food is great, the beer list is long, and the atmosphere is laid-back and warm. The outside patio is the perfect place to enjoy a couple beers (I’m big fan of the Lost Coast) and some buffalo wings. You can also get dinner here (they have a pretty extensive and adventurous menu for being an ale house) or you can just gorge on the free tortilla chips.

I totally adore this restaurant-bar. I think the architecture and design is warm and inviting and the beer list and menu are great. The back patio is THE perfect place to drink a couple of Hefeweizens and eat a basket of wings on a summer’s night.
