I’ve gushed about Backstage on Guidespot before, and I’m more than happy to do it again— this is an AWESOME bar. And to further cement their awesomeness— they have happy hour on SATURDAY!!! (as well as Monday through Friday, of course). If you drop by between 4pm and 7pm you can get $2 domestic brews, $3 well drinks. and half off appetizers (the sliders and mac & cheese are DELICIOUS— get them!!!)

One of Culver City’s favorite dive bars has karaoke as well as a black & white photobooth. Why do those things seem to fit together so naturally? Oh right, they both require total self-obsession to fully appreciate.
I LOVE this dive bar. Not only do they host MEAN karaoke nights (the people that come here are American Idol quality), but they also pull out the stops when it comes to watching sports. Throw in the fact that the food here is TASTY as hell— the mac & cheese and the sliders are AWESOME— and you have yourself a great place to watch the Lakers kick ass.
