In my opinion, the more people you have over, the more budget-conscious you should be. Market Basket has a great selection of meat to choose from, including that giant package of burgers already formed into patties which may just keep you from having a nervous breakdown. MB is also a must-visit for condiments, napkins, paper plates, and other no-frills cookout goodies.

Sure, the aisles are small, and there are random crates piled with products throughout the store. But when everyone over 70 shops there, you know you’re onto something: Market Basket has the cheapest prices around!

Food, treats, and cat litter: the staples of my life are purchased here. I prefer the Market Basket brand center-cut bacon, Whiskas Temptations treats, and Friskies wet food. They also buy my Jonny Cat litter here at a fair price.
