Show Low is a town in east central Arizona, on the Mogollon Rim at an elevation of 6,400 feet. It is in Navajo County, Arizona, United States. In 2002, a large forest fire, the Rodeo-Chediski fire, threatened the town and forced an evacuation. The town is near extensive forests, and in normal times is a popular recreational area. The population was 7,695 at the 2000 census.

According to the legend, the town was named after a marathon poker match, where the stakes were a 100,000 acre ranch. After no one seemed to get the upper hand, one player decided to end the contest by declaring to the other, "show low and you win". The other player produced a deuce of clubs (the lowest possible card) and won the ranch. Show Low's main street is named "Deuce of Clubs" in remembrance.
