Marana is a town in Pima County, Arizona, United States. Marana incorporated in 1977. The population was 13,556 at the 2000 census. A July 1, 2004 estimate by the Pima Association of Governments put Marana's population at 23,520. Marana was the fourth fastest-growing place among all cities and towns in Arizona of any size from 1990 and 2000.
