A Day in San Francisco

If you only have a day to see the sights in San Francisco, here is a day driving trip I sent to friends as they landed at the airport before driving north to our wedding in Sonoma. It hits some of the must-see tourist spots and lets you get a feel for some of my favorite "locals" spots as well. If you want to follow in the order I have set up the stops, start on the top left, read right and then follow each set of directions in order, top to bottom, regardless of the column.

I, personally, am a huge fan of the Sonoma Valley wine country. I believe there are many beautiful, amazing wineries in Sonoma that don't have quite as much "attitude" as in the other valley. If you can stay near the quaint Sonoma town square, it's very easy to get around because it is so centrally located to many of the different regions of the valley. My husband and I recently spent a Sunday evening on our first wedding anniversary driving around the Denver Metro area looking for an after hours Urgent Care clinic trying to avoid a crowded ER after he had sliced open his hand.
