About Me

It's been a few months since I created my one and only guide, but now I am ready to get back to it and begin inspiring the masses with my latest muse: Michigan! Yes, contrary to what I would have ever thought, I have landed here in this state and it doesn't look like I'm going anywhere for a while. So, I'm going to make the best of it by bringing to you the best darn guides about Michigan and the Detroit area that you could ever possibly dream of. And come on, aren't we all dreaming about life in Michigan, given the great reputation it has... ? ;-) Well, I've got a little bit of home state pride swelling within me and I am ready to share it with you. Prepare to have your mitten state stereotypes annihilated.

    This guide also makes me miss Chi-town dearly. Of all the cities I’ve traveled to, I have to say that I’ve yet to find one that has as many great coffeeshop/cafes as Chicago. Sure, I’ve never been to Paris, but Chicago’s got the best that I’ve seen! Thanks for highlighting some of the best right here.

    I love your “About Me”! I remember my college grad. speaker saying that our “ships” should have a set course, no floating, and I thought that was crap! Float, wander, saunter, live! What does “Three Green Spots” mean? I like the sound of it!

    Amanda you would so love the Getty. We should have gone last year but there was no time! I am really thinking that living bi-coastal is the only way to go. Someday!
